Summer Camp Programs
Designed for budding equestrians ages 8–12, this immersive program offers a perfect blend of riding, responsibility and outdoor exploration.
Campers will enjoy a hands-on riding lesson with their own pony, learning essential horsemanship skills and building confidence in the saddle. Our experienced instructors guide campers in pony care—from grooming and feeding to basic stable management—instilling a sense of responsibility and respect for animals.
Beyond the barn, participants will enjoy stimulating arts & crafts projects that spark creativity and celebrate nature. Daily nature walks through our scenic grounds encourage campers to discover local flora & fauna, while fostering a deeper appreciation for the environment.
At Southlands Pony Camp, your child will build new friendships, develop valuable life skills and create cherished memories—all while having the summer of a lifetime.
Pony Camp (Ages 8-12)
For our youngest explorers, Southlands’ Nature Camp offers a week of outdoor discovery and creative play.
Children ages 4–7 will engage in hands-on activities that let them connect with the natural world—whether they’re crafting imaginative art projects inspired by the environment or taking guided walks to observe plants and wildlife.
One highlight of the week is a special pony ride, giving campers a taste of equestrian fun in a safe, nurturing setting. Led by caring staff, children will gain confidence around ponies while also learning the basics of animal respect and gentle handling. With plenty of time for crafts, games, and exploration, Southlands Nature Camp provides an exciting and supportive space for young campers to grow, learn and make new friends—all while nurturing a lifelong love of nature.
