To fulfill our mission to preserve Hudson Valley agricultural land, we began growing our own hay.

In 2022, we had a good crop of hay from our own fields: over 3,000 bales. Many thanks to Jim and Joya Yantz of Northern Dutchess Agricultural Contracting for their help with this bounty.

We store our hay and additionally purchased hay in lofts above the horse stalls and in South Barn.

We continue to explore ways to expand and develop our hay fields.
