Our primary goal is to create competent, relaxed pleasure riders and horses. Our intention is to introduce our students to a broad range of equestrian activities, including equitation, showing hunters, trail riding, jumpers, and dressage from the beginner level through advanced.

Southlands conducts a full range of equestrian activities on site including unrecognized hunter/ jumper shows, specialized clinics with nationally and internationally recognized instructors, as well as summer programs and periodic evening  programs. We also provide coaching and transportation to off-site shows at the local level through “AA” Rated level. Along with this traditional aspect of horseback riding, Southlands also offers educational seminars, field trips, fundraisers and community service activities.

Southlands has a long history of teaching the classic fundamentals of safe and sound horsemanship to children and adults alike. Our excellent teaching maintains its heritage of the highest quality equestrian education.
